White Sugar & Cedar Wood Coffee Body Scrub
Hello my loves, I'm going to keep this real simple and straightforward today. This is the first in several D.I.Y beauty scrubs, soaks, masks and whatnots for ya'll readers. I made all these by hand in one afternoon and now you can too! With a scourge of what you can find around your home and possibly a quick trip to the local natural foods store follow these easy recipes and you'll be crafting up a storm (like I did) in no time. Stay empowered and beautiful my friends...
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
Ingredients:
- Coffee grinds (save your organic local fresh coffee grinds throughout the week prior to use for this homemade scrub)
- 10 drops of Cedarwood essential oil
- 1 cup of white sugar but depending on the exfoliation a variety of natural sugar found in your kitchen will do here
- 1-2 tablespoons of nutmeg spice ground
- 3-4 tablespoons of ground cinnamon
- 3-4 tablespoons of ground cinnamon
Combine:
All ingredients listed in a non-porous bowl like a stainless steel metal kitchen bowl and stir until a paste-like scrub has formed. Then pour into an airtight container like a mason jar or recycled old jam glass jar and store in the fridge because it can go bad after a week left alone in the bathroom. Just pull it out from the fridge when desired to use during your next bath or shower and scrub your body to exfoliate and smoother and hydrated skin will emerge! Tada! Pat yourself on the back because you made it all by yourself.
