Hello Loves!
Welcome back to the blog and thanks for reading and giving me the time of day, I really apprecite it. To wrap up my the tail end of my home tour I wanted to share with you my kitchen, the heart of my home. I spend just as much time in the kitchen as I do in my living room or bedroom. So it' only fair that I show you the place where food, friends and family gather.
Since the apartment my boyfriend and I live in was built in the 50's is has so much characther built into it espically when it comes to the kichen. Between the built in cabnets, pull out cutting boards and pastel yellow hue the kitchen has so much charm and warmth. At first I didn't love the yellow walls in the kitchen and thought it would be too much to look at everyday but honestly it's grown on me. The landlord wouldnt let me paint so I had to work with the yellow walls and white cupboards. I think with the personal little decor touches and quirky artwork I've been able to make it my own. I loved adding my natural wood and plants to the mix to give a sense of life to the space. Like any creative who loves home interiors I'll never truly be done decoring my spaces but for now it will do. I'd love to add more hanging plants, wall mounted plants, a retro mirror and a new smeg toaster to the kitchen eventually but practicaity wise it works just fine for now. I guess being content with what you have is a blessing and a curse when you tend to get board from time to time...
Getting down to the specifics in this room:
Floor Rug- Purchased from a sample sale at Roostco.

This should wrap it up for my kitchen tour, I hope you enjoyed it! I think I'll have some other new posts up in the weeks to come on more home related tpoics like how I like to keep my plants alive and various new lifstyle content. I hope you readers have been enjoying my new posts lately. Have a wonderul rest of you week and welcome Christmas.
