Hey Loves!
How was your weekend? Did you get a chance to carve some self-care time for yourself?
As for me lately, I've been really into my skincare now especially since I received these goodies from Mad Hippie. I've been testing out these products you see above for over the last two weeks and I have to say I'm enjoying them.
When it comes to the samples, I would say that they are alright, I did enjoy using the facial oils and I LOVED the moisturizer because it smelled like candy but the facial cream cleanser was not so much my jam. I've been using the full-size bottle of the facial oil cleanser and enjoying it thoroughly.
I have a new evening routine now where I wash my hands then slater and rub the facial oil into my face as much as I can when I get a super hot washcloth and wipe it off. It feels amazing!!! My skin has been feeling clean and moisturized after and it works really well. Typically I liked using my face wipe towelettes but this method is way more efficient and environmentally friendly. Washing a washcloth after a few uses verses throwing away a makeup wipe makes a lot more sense to me. So not only is MAD HIPPIE helping me become more sustainable, but I'm also getting clean. That's a win-win in my book.
As for the skin serum (the other full-size glass bottle product), it's okay. I use it but don't necessarily see any difference from it so I don't know if it's doing anything on my skin other than layering on some vitamins and whatnot. If I were to go out into the world and buy these items on my own I would definitely buy the facial oil, and moisturizer because it smelled super yummy and maybe one of these other face oils for moisturizing. I guess the main take away from this I've learned is that samples are your friend, and when able get them because it totally helped me decide would I actually would use. Finding and trying out the things that work for me instead of wasting my money on skincare products I won't actually end up using makes a ton of sense and ultimately creates less waste.
Heres a list of the products I sampled shown from above in my photo:
1. Cream Cleanser
2. Face Cream
3. Facial Cleansing Oil (my favorite)
4. Vitamin C Serum (super moisturizing)
5. Exfoliating Serum (BIG fan of this stuff)
A few last cool facts about Mad Hippie:
*They are made and were born within the USA
*For every website sale, they donate to conservation giving back to the earth
*They offer a 100% money back guarantee, way to stand by your products Mad Hippie
*They're products are cruelty-free, GMO-free and vegan
*The products are 100% natural with no fillers or artificial ingredients
So if that's not enough reasons why to convince you that their skin care products are AMAZING then I don't know what to tell you. Supporting a brand and progressive company like theirs is definitely something I stand behind and you should too...
XOXO
