Sustainable Home Decor with Horizon Designs Co.

Hi Loves!

I hope your week is going well so far, happy Thursday and thank goodness it's almost the weekend again. I can't believe June is almost over with my boyfriend’s birthday next week and a camping trip on the horizon it's been a busy month for me... 

Speaking of horizons, I'd like to introduce you to a fun Etsy shop I recently had the pleasure to discover called Horizon Designs Co. The owner recently reached out to me via Instagram and we made this fresh collaboration happen for you guys today! I hope you enjoy seeing a bit of home decor mixed in with all my fun fashion, beauty and travel posts. I certainly enjoy mixing it up and having some variety for you guys. 

This lamp is pretty clever if you ask me, I would've never thought to take an old VHS tape and turn it into a cool night-light. I love how you can special order these VHS lamps by picking which kind of VHS tape you'd like as well as the color or the lamp installed, they certainly would make a fun creative gift for someone as well. I also am such a fan that taking the concept of sustainability and applying it to home decor using everyday items in a new way saving them from otherwise being tossed in the trash or donated to the thrift store. In some ways I'm also getting a lot of Urban Outfitters home decor vibes from this little lamp, even though Ross (the owner and seller) is selling these handmade lamps on his Etsy site I could also see these someday being sold on the Urban Outfitters website too. It's genius, and I think everyone would love a little lamp like this, especially kids or college students for dorms...
